Get in touchInvasive weed control
We have qualified experts in identifying, controlling and managing invasive weeds, such as Japanese knotweed, Himalayan balsam and giant hogweed. We cover native and non-native plants that could be classed as invasive, such as bamboo and buddleia’s.
Our chartered surveyors in Japanese knotweed inspect sites for invasive plants. Their reports will highlight potential issues that can occur from housing these species. Our bespoke management plans are based on the results and information from our surveys and reports, which adhere to current legislation. After completing our management plans, an insurance back guarantee is awarded to cover our finished work.
Remedial services for herbicide treatments include knapsack spraying, stem injection and ATV on-board spraying. Manually or mechanically, we deal with the invasives via excavation work, covering on-site stockpiles/bunds, burial and cell burials. We remove site waste and dispose of it correctly. Biological controls are offered if applicable to plant and site. Our clerk of works supervises and runs all the treatments and remedial work. Once herbicide or excavational work is completed, we offer revegetation options, helping the treated areas grow again in floral diversity.
