Reptile Conservation and Translocation Project

Our team has been undertaking the responsible capture and translocation of a range of reptile species, including slow worms, common lizards, grass snakes and adders. This work has also provided valuable opportunities for our ecologists to further develop their expertise, particularly in the safe handling of adders.

To date, more than 500 reptiles have been successfully relocated to a fully prepared receptor site. This milestone reflects the team’s high level of skill, dedication and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ecological best practice.

This project highlights our ongoing commitment to delivering work that places biodiversity and environmental stewardship at its core, ensuring wildlife is protected alongside development.
